the most amazing salmon!
I have been trying to find different ways to make salmon. Me and my boyfriend both really like salmon, and i know its very versatile, but its hard when u have the pickiest eater ever in ur house. and im not even talking about my 5 year old son! My boyfriend is so picky, its very irritating sometimes to find something he will eat. And i already knew that he didnt like honey, so i decided to just not tell him that i was using it in this recipe until after he tried the food to see if he liked it first. So i took teriyaki sauce, honey, garlic and shallot and mixed it all together. i brushed it over salmon fillets and slowly cooked it in a frying pan. let me tell u that it was the best salmon ive ever had! And by the way, my boyfriend loved it too!! after he inhaled half of it, i told him that there was honey in the sauce. he just said that he couldnt taste it. but he was in love with the food too, so he didnt even care! i printed this recipe up too, because u can be sure that i will be making this plenty more times in the future! :)
my first chicken fajitas!
About a week ago, I made my first ever attempt at chicken fajitas! Now i know that they're a pretty common dish nowadays, but i've never tried them before. I have never even eaten them before! But after i sat and thought about it, i figured that it shouldn't be too hard to make, especially with a packet of fajita seasoning. :) So, i just sliced up chicken, onions, peppers, garlic and threw it all in a rly big frying pan. I added the packet of seasoning and a little bit of water. It smelled so good as it was cooking, i couldnt wait to try it! As it was cooking, i kept thinking that it would tasta even yummier if i added a can of black beans to it, so i did and omg it was amazing! i put the mixture on a flour tortilla with some taco sauce and sour cream. Since the mixture was still warm, it softened the sour cream a little and it made the dinner that much better! My boyfriend couldn't stop raving about it! So the next day, I immediately typed up the recipe so i could make it lots more times! :) It was the best and i cant wait to make it again!
